Directions from Alicante airport to El Tossal:
· Leave Alicante Airport.
· Take left turn out of the car park sign posted for Valencia. (E15/AP30).
· Follow the signs for Valencia and you will join the Autovia (motorway).
· Follow signs for Valencia & Benidorm.
· Stay on the motorway E15/A7.
· You will go through a long tunnel you will need to stop and take a ticket as you are entering onto a toll stretch of the A7.
· Use only the booths with a green light as the other booths are for credit cards and TAG holders.
· Carry on the A7 you will soon see signs for Altea to the right J64.
· As you come off the A7 you will need to pay the toll charge €2.95.
· Follow the signs into Altea (N332).
· As you come into Altea, you will see a couple of large Hotels on your left Villa Gaeda and just further on the Cap Negret, carry straight on you will see a blue bridge in front of you.
· There are signs for a La Nucia & Polop immediately in front of the bridge, DO NOT TAKE THIS TURNING; carry on through 3 sets of lights (pedestrian lights) , at the 4th set of lights (.7km from the blue bridge) turn immediatley right ( signposted Palau and Poble Antic). The road goes uphill and dog legs (signpost for La Nucia) and leads to a small roundabout, carry on straight over the roundabout, you will drive along the Avenida La Nucia this road has cafes and bars and shops, at the end of this road is another roundabout there is a bank on your left (Caixaltea). Follow the signs for the CV760 La Nucia (straight on).
· As you proceed along this road (CV760) you will see a blue sign to the left for " Tossal D’ Altea Hotel" - DO NOT TAKE THIS TURNING, continue on the road CV760 over the motorway and past a supermarket on your right continuing straight on you will come to a roundabout, continue straight on over the roundabout, after a short while you will see a restaurant on your left "Villa Romana" followed shortly by a sign for the Urb El Tossal and Restaurant “El Tossal” to the left. Take this left turn.
Directions from Valencia airport to El Tossal:
· Leave Valencia Airport.
· Take the AP7 SOUTH head for Alicante.
· There are tolls to pay; approx 10€
· Do not take the lanes with a green T shaped light above, these are for TAG vehicles only.
· Carry on the A7 you will soon see signs for Altea J64.
· As you come off the A7 you will need to pay the toll charge.
· Follow the signs into Altea (N332).
· As you come into Altea, you will see a couple of large Hotels on your left Villa Gaeda and just further on the Cap Negret, carry straight on you will see a blue bridge in front of you.
· There are signs for a La Nucia & Polop immediately in front of the bridge, do not take these turning carry on until you come to a set of traffic lights, turn right here. The road goes uphill and dog legs and leads to a small roundabout, carry on straight over the roundabout, you will drive along a road with cafes and bars and shops at the end of this road is another roundabout and it is sign posted straight on for La Nucia, as you proceed up this road (CV760) you will see a blue sign to the left for "Hotel Tossal Altea" - DO NOT TAKE THIS TURNING, continue on the road CV760 and after approx 4kms you will see a restaurant on your left "Villa Romana" followed shortly by a sign for the Urb El Tossal and Restaurant “El Tossal” to the left. Take this turning.
You go up a steep hill you will see the restaurant on your left, at the junction
(yellow letterbox in front of you) turn right.
Head up the road for approx 30 mts and turn sharp left almost back on yourself,
this road is steep and you climb the hill for approx 50 mts, this road then
joins another road. Continue straight on – bearing left for another 150 mts.
Your B&B is on the right No10.
Car parking is at the bottom of the house and is marked as Los Rayos Del Sol - Privado
